Why are we named " With Love, From India " ?
It is a romantic story when then my boyfriend ( now husband ) and I were doing Long Distance. I wanted to send him something special which would make him remember of me and my love.
We get asked many times by my customers why I named my shop "With Love, From India" ? Well, everything in our shop (including me) has been produced in India so that's why From India and we Indians put love in everything we do so With Love.
About 5 years a go I came to London from India with just a suitcase full of hopes and dreams, and yes off-course all Indian specialties! When that initial stock of specialties ran out I turned to supermarkets for refill but unimpressed by their quality and purity I started asking anyone I know who was going to India to bring some of my favorite things. I started looking forward with anticipation to this delivery and every time they came I was always filled with joy.
We hope the demand of my Indian specialties grow not only among my friends and neighbors but every person know about it and I start visiting India frequently to stock up my supply from rural Indian farmers. I hope to start importing all my directly from Indian farmers and they work very hard to produce the finest quality products that customer require.
I hope our produce whether it is spices will help you to create many authentic Indian meals and you will be able to taste the hard work of our farmers.
